BellSouth

If your Internet Service is provided by Bell South, you need to make a few adjustments to the outgoing mail server settings.

• Change the Outgoing Mail Server to mail.bellsouth.net
• On the Outgoing Server tab, Uncheck "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication".
• On the Advanced tab, , uncheck "This server requires an encrypted connection" for the Outgoing server (SMTP) and make sure port number changes from 465 to 25.

BellSouth does not permit you to use "foreign" outgoing mail servers.
