Why do I get an error in Outlook when I read mail from mail1.ccim.net?

  • mail1.ccim.net pointed to a server operated by Wash My Mail. Our contract with them expired on 12/31/2006.  Update your mail software (see the guides on the right) to use the appropriate servers. 

Do I have make any changes to my computer setup to use CCIM DOT NET mail?

  • No.  By default, your mail is available through any web browser by logging in at http://www.ccim.net. 

My CCIM DOT NET mail is not showing up in my Outlook inbox. Why? 

  • You have to tell CCIM.NET how to get mail into your Outlook (or other email software) inbox. There are two ways it can get into your inbox:  You can forward your CCIM.NET mail to an account that Outlook already checks or you can have Outlook pick up mail directly from our servers.  Please read below for more information.

How Outlook is getting my CCIM DOT NET mail?

  • Check TOOLS -> ACCOUNTS in Outlook. Click CHANGE to view the settings for your account.  Click the SERVERS button to see what servers outlook is using.  If the servers reference CCIM.NET, then Outlook is reading mail from the CCIM.NET servers.  You will need to configure Outlook (or other software) to POP mail from the proper CCIM.NET servers.

    f you have no account referencing CCIM.NET, then CCIM.NET mail is being forwarded to to one of your other mail accounts.

How do I configure Outlook (or other software) to POP my mail from CCIM DOT NET? 

  • You'll need to set those servers to reference our new CCIM.NET system and tell the CCIM.NET system that you want to allow mail to be accessed by the POP method.

    Login to CCIM.NET and click on the SETTINGS tab at the top right of the INBOX page.  Then click on FORWARDING AND POP.  Fill out the POP Download part of the form.

    Then, go to the configuration instructions to find out how to configure  your mail client. Please note that the servers are "gmail.com", but  your account is "ccim.net".  If you use Outlook, use this guide.

How do I get CCIM DOT NET to forward mail to my other mail account?

  • Login to CCIM.NET and click on the SETTINGS tab at the top right of the INBOX page.  Then click on FORWARDING AND POP.  Fill out the forwarding part of the form.

What's my password?

  • If you've forgotten your password, please email webmaster@cciminstitute.com.  If your email is coming from the account currently in your member profile, we'll set your password to something new and email that to you.  Please allow 24 hours. 

Can I change my password?

  • Sure. Click on SETTINGS, then ACCOUNT.

Can I use my  iPhone,Treo or Windows Mobile device?

How can I read mail from more than one device (e.g., my Blackberry and my desktop PC)?

I can't send mail and my ISP is Bell South.
